Il fondo e le fasce sono realizzati in acero australiano del Queensland massello, legno in grado di generare un suono potente, definito e brillante. L'elettronica AP5 Pro, infine, aggiunge alla tradizionale elettronica AP5 un microfono posizionato all'interno della buca al fine di generare sonorità più articolate e reali.
