La Jackson RR3 Rhoads è costruita e progettata per chitarristi estremi. La chitarra consta di un corpo in ontano, di un manico in acero e di una tastiera in palissandro con radius compound da 12" fino a 16". Grazie a questi accorgimenti e ai tasti Jumbo, così come al ponte Floyd Rose® Licensed Jackson® Low Profile JT580, la chitarra risulta estremamente veloce e confortevole.

Il timbro è caldo ed allo stesso tempo aggressivo, grazie alla combinazione dei pickup Seymour Duncan® Jazz™ SH2N e Seymour Duncan® JB™ TB4.

La tastiera con radius compound realizzata da Jackson ha una curvatura maggiore verso il capotasto per una maggiore maneggevolezza e per permettere un action molto bassa sugli ultimi tasti. Un possibile slogan? Con una mano rilassata si suona meglio!
