Il Gretsch G9220 Bobtail è un dobro resonator con manico rounded, perfetto per gli amanti della musica bluegrass, ragtime e blues. Il corpo è realizzato in mogano ed è dotato delle tradizionali buche ad "f". Il cono resonator è il bellissimo Gretsch Ampli-Sonic, realizzato a mano nell'est Europa al 99% in alluminio, per una proiezione sonora fantastica. Il Gretsch G9220 Bobtail è inoltre dotata di un'elettronica Fishman Nashville con pickup piezo in grado di generare un accurato suono amplificato.
