La Gretsch G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. with Bigsby è una chitarra semi-hollow body con blocco centrale dalle dimensioni compatte. E' caratterizzata oltre che dai nuovi pickup "Black Top" da un manico in acero con profilo Thin "U", tastiera in Laurel da 22 tasti Medium Jumbo, intarsi Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail, selettore a tre posizioni, ponte Adjusto-Matic™ e ponte Bigsby®-licensed B60.
