The Gibson Firebird 2014 celebrates Gibson's 120th Anniversary in great style. The body is realized with two mahogany wings wrapping a multi-ply laminate neck-through body (walnut/mahogany).

The bound rosewood fingerboard has undercut frets over the binding to increase the "playing" surface of the frets and features a 120th Anniversary inlay at the 12th fret.

Other key features are the mini-humbucker pickups, generating a bright unique tone, max grip speed knobs, Steinberger tuners, Graph Tech nut and a chorme tune-o-matic bridge with Stopbar tailpiece.
