Concepita per la velocità, la 5150 Series Deluxe è un blend di specifiche tecniche moderne e tradizione EVH.
La EVH 5150 Series Standard è caratterizzata da un corpo in pioppo, manico in acero quartersawn con rinforzo in grafite e profilo Modified "C", estremamente veloce, anche grazie alla finitura satinata uretanica.
La tastiera in ebano consta di 22 tasti jumbo ed è dotata di un radius compound da 12" a 16".
A livello di elettronica troviamo un EVH® Wolfgang® Bridge Alnico 2 al ponte, pickup in grado di spingere e ricco di attacco e definizione. Al manico invece troviamo un EVH Wolfgang Neck Alnico 2, dotato di sustain senza fine.
Infine parlando del ponte troviamo un Floyd Rose® Top Mount marchiato EVH, perfetto per li "dive bomb" ed un EVH D-Tuna® per passare ad accordatura Drop D in un istante.
