Il DS-2 possiede due modi TURBO. Il TURBO Mode I produce una distorsione calda e morbida con una risposta in frequenza lineare. Il TURBO Mode II crea una distorsione più pungente con una leggera enfasi alle medie frequenze, ideale per le parti solistiche. La presa REMOTE permette di collegare il pedale di controllo FS-5L, per un passaggio rapido tra le due modalità.
